Silver Needle - Bai Hao Yin Zen - White Tea
This exquisite tea is made from new buds, plucked before they start to open. Its silky and delicacy spring fragrance gives a subtle bright, clear, yellowish colour cup with a long palate and refreshing taste. Bai Hao Yin Zen allows cold brewing, add 3g to a litre of cold water and let it brew for 1 hr.
Ingredient: White Tea - China
Brew instructions: 1-2 tsp, for a cup of 150- 200ml. Pour on boiling water at 80C and allow brew for 30 seconds, discard the first water, then continue infusing for successive periods.starting at 30 seconds and becoming progressively longer to extract the delicately sweet flavour. This tea will allow multiple brewing.
Infuse 5-gr in 200ml water at 80C for 1-2 minutes. Strain and add more water for a second infusion.
Alternatively, for an infusion, steep for 5' minutes.
