Hon Yama Hebizuka Gyokuro - Green Tea
This fine tea is of premium quality. One of the oldest tea in Japan, it has an outstanding aroma, umami, mellow taste and strong aftertaste. This tea is shaded from the sun for 20-30 weeks before plucking the leaves. This process imparts a vivid green colour to the leaves which are extremely rich in minerals. The taste is smooth, rich and soft, lingering on the palate for a long time. This tea is calorie free.
Ingredients: Gyokuro Green Tea - Japan
Brewing Instructions: 2 tsp for a cup of 150 - 200ml, pour on boiling water at 70C and allow to brew for 30 seconds to 1 minute, for the second brew and third brew for 2 - 3 seconds. For the 4th and 5th brewing increase, the water temperature to 80C and brew for 10 to 20 seconds, to extract all valuable essential oils and flavours.
